Grilled Pizza with Heirloom Tomatoes & Black Olives

Ingredients

  • 1 Premade Pizza Crust or Dough
  • 1 can Pizza Sauce (14 ounces)
  • 2 C shredded mozzarella
  • 4 medium to large heirloom tomatoes
  • ½ C black olives

For Garnish:
  • Fresh Basil
  • ¼ C Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh Basil
  • ¼ C Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Grill to Medium Heat (450 degrees) with Outset Pizza Stone in center.
  2. Lightly coat a large pizza peel with corn meal and roll out premade pizza dough. Allow to cook on a pizza stone for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat to add toppings.
  3. Evenly distribute a layer of sauce, add mozzarella, sliced heirloom tomatoes, and olives.
  4. Bring back to grill and slide pizza onto pizza stone gently. Cook for 5-7 mins with the cover closed. Open grill and rotate pizza 180 degrees. Cover again and cook for an additional 5-7 mins, or until crust is lightly browned.
  5. Use pizza peel to remove the pizza from grill and garnish with Parmesan Cheese and Fresh Basil to preference. Enjoy!
